Children
We value faith formation and the opportunity for community for all ages. One of the ways we encourage that is through the various programs listed below. Some children’s programs (VBS, Uth Night, Jr. MYF, & MYF) are done in partnership with Living Hope Community Church in Hopedale.

Kingdom Kids
Children grades kindergarten through fifth grade are dismissed from worship for a time of learning and worshiping in a laidback, fun atmosphere. Their time together typically includes games, singing, bible memory, and bible stories. Kingdom Kids meets most Sundays from September through May.

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is offered for one week every summer for children age preschool through (completed) fifth grade at Hopedale Mennonite Church. We partner with Living Hope Community Church to offer VBS for children throughout Hopedale and area communities.

Curriculum typically comes from MennoMedia and invites children to hear stories about Jesus in a unique atmosphere. Children rotate stations throughout their time at VBS so they not only have a time for focused worship but also time to digest the story in various ways.

Pre-registration is preferred for this free event. Registration forms can be found at the Hopedale Mennonite Church office beginning in May or online.

Uth Night (at Living Hope Community Church)
Children in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to Uth Night every Wednesday at Living Hope Community Church in Hopedale from 6:45 – 8:00 pm. Kids from all over the community gather at Living Hope to worship, make crafts, play games, and practice memorizing scriptures. Uth Night meets weekly throughout the school year and on a special schedule during the summer.

Jr. MYF (at Living Hope Community Church)
Students in middle school, grades 6-8, meet Wednesday evenings from 6:45 - 8:00 pm at Living Hope Community Church in Hopedale. The youth participate in a mixture of Bible Studies and fun activities such as bowling, service projects, scavenger hunts, movie nights and cookouts. Jr. MYF meets weekly throughout the school year and on a special schedule during the summer.

Sunday School
There are Sunday school classes for a variety of ages depending on the ages of the children attending each year. Currently there is a class for kids in grades 1st – 5th that meets upstairs in the North wing. They are using the Shine curriculum published by MennoMedia. The middle school class (6th – 8th graders) meet in the South basement and study a variety of topics.
